CBS reports on the growing popularity of drinks containing the acai fruit, particularly the product Bazi and how its one of John Elway's favorites. He says he's not a paid endorser of the acai Bazi drink but he takes it because he likes it.

Touched on are other products also making health promises including, Monavie with a statement to "Deliver the essential... antioxidants your body needs to stay healthy", and Amazon Thunder's advertising of its acai product as 100% organic with no preservatives "Perfect for detoxing and maintaining optimum health". 

The report states fans of the acai berry drinks consider the fruit juices to be an insurance policy if you miss your daily intake of fruits and vegetables, but the scientific jury is still out on these acai rich drinks and dietitians still encourage an intake of natural fruits and vegetables for your supplement diet.
