Hawaii Five-O’s Hottie Alex O’Loughlin Likes a Good Acai Bowl

Steve McGarrett often backs up his action packed day with a good health bar Acai Bowl.

Alex’s TV character Steve McGarrett is frequently the tough guy and he needs a lot of energy to play the very action packed fight scenes that the show demands. But as much as O’Loughlin’s character might be the tough guy role, Alex says he is far from a tough guy off camera.

When he’s not shooting his popular series Hawaii Five-O, a remake from the 70’s hit series, the Sydney Australia native enjoys his newly taken up past time of surfing. He stays away from the 20 foot waves of the North Shore but faces the challenge of six foot waves with a little bit of rookie nerves. And when he’s not catching a wave he likes discovering new places in Hawaii, including cool bars and restaurants. One place he says he goes a lot is a Diamond Head health bar where he enjoys a good acai bowl.
